JOB DESCRIPTION: Marketing & Communications Intern
Job Responsibilities:
The JewBer Marketing & Communications intern will lead JewBer’s marketing and communication efforts. They will help develop, execute, and maintain a marketing strategy in collaboration with JewBer’s Co-Founders, and is considered a key part of #TeamJewBer.
Job Responsibilities:
Developing, executing, and maintaining JewBer’s marketing and communication strategy
Managing campaigns on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Following and analyzing Google analytics
Leading market research
Writing and publishing JewBer’s bi-weekly newsletters
Overseeing website maintenance and updates
Connecting with local organizations, and newspapers for PR opportunities
Working with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, etc.
The ideal candidate has/is:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Database management experience
Marketing/technology platform experience, including SEO and content
Overall high-level creativity
Familiarity with Google Analytics
Experience with digital/graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
Strong attention to detail
Self starter with high achievement orientation
Problem solver with a desire to innovate and explore
Familiar with the Jewish community organizations and stakeholders
Eager to grow and learn in a fast-paced social start-up environment
Additional Information:
This position is estimated at around 5 hours/week, and is open to anyone with access to a computer and internet! An ideal candidate is an undergraduate or graduate student looking to learn, grow, and be part of an exciting entrepreneurial environment. Given that JewBer is a volunteer-led operation, this is an unpaid internship. We would be happy to help arrange for academic credit if possible.
