Liat Greenwood is one of our amazing frontline heroes who we regularly deliver Shabbat meals to on Friday afternoons. Liat is a nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), a student at University of Colorado where she is studying for a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse-Midwifery, and a board member of JOFA - the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance.
Liat shared the following words of appreciation about her JewBer experience:
"Moving to Boston in the middle of a pandemic was a difficult transition, especially working a lot of Friday and Saturday shifts during my nursing orientation at MGH, but the Jewish ritual of a quick kiddish and motzei during my breaks courtesy of Jewber has helped me stay connected."
